As of my last update in September 2021, AWS (Amazon Web Services) did not offer a service called “Public IP Insights.” AWS may have introduced new services or features after my knowledge cutoff date, so I recommend checking the official AWS website, documentation, or AWS news for the most up-to-date information on their offerings.

To monitor and analyze public IP addresses and their associated traffic in AWS, you might consider using the following services and tools:

  1. Amazon VPC Flow Logs: This service lets you capture information about the IP traffic going to and from your Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network interfaces. With VPC Flow Logs, you can collect source and destination IP addresses, ports, protocols, and more data.
  2. AWS CloudTrail: CloudTrail enables you to log, continuously monitor, and retain events related to AWS API activity. It tracks actions taken by users, services, or roles within your AWS account and provides valuable information about API calls to various AWS services.
  3. Amazon CloudWatch: CloudWatch is a monitoring service that provides data and actionable insights for AWS resources and applications. You can use it to collect and track metrics, collect and monitor log files, and set alarms.
  4. AWS Network Firewall: Network Firewall is a managed firewall service that allows you to monitor and control network traffic for your VPC. You can define custom rules for filtering traffic based on IP addresses, protocols, ports, and other criteria.
  5. AWS Security Hub: Security Hub is a comprehensive security service that provides a centralized view of security alerts and compliance status across your AWS accounts. It can help you identify and prioritize security issues, including those related to public IP addresses.
  6. AWS WAF (Web Application Firewall): If you are concerned about web application security, you can use AWS WAF to monitor and control HTTP/HTTPS requests to your applications by inspecting the traffic for suspicious activity.

Remember that services and features offered by AWS can change over time, so it’s essential to verify the current offerings and capabilities directly from the AWS documentation or official sources.
